Seeing this movie tonight at midnight! I just know its going to be so good!

I have lots to update about life so I am going to do this in bullets, it is much easier and faster too!

• moved into apartment in Old Towne Orange. It is seriously the best little apartment and the best neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shopping all locally owned. 
• working at Disneyland is really great so far. different than i thought it would be but amazing just the same. i am meeting a lot of  great people and i am hoping it stays this way!
• aaron was hired at Disneyland too! so happy for him. he really likes it so far and its nice to both be making money again!
• my dad came to visit us here in California and we went to Disneyland all together and to the San Diego Zoo! it was a blast and i miss him already.
• My dearest mum is living close to us!! she was transferred to California and is liking it so far. I cant wait to visit her more often once we get a bit more financially stable.

well there is the quick update. now that we have internet at our house i expect i will be much better at updating!!

home is where the heart is

so we have an apartment on hold for us in Old Towne Orange!

its a miracle! i am hoping that it all completely works out and that we

can move in as soon as possible!

lets hope our credit is approved!

anywho...

with this new apartment in this new state, i wanted to create

a new feel. a more cozy and simple one. very detailed and

not overly girlish. also laid back and inviting as California is.

so these are some ideas...

labeled canisters for dried goods- so practical and cute and easy. i bet

i could find these jars for pretty cheap at a thrift store or ikea and labeling

probably isnt too hard either. i think they would be so cute all lined up and neat

on the kitchen counter. also not to mention that it would make things a lot easier

when trying to bake. i always forget what i have or what i dont have!

tea cups as bathroom containers- how adorable is this?? Savers always has

the cutest tea cups and so does Anthropologie when they are on sale. i think using these

for bathroom needs and jewelry etc.. would be so sweet and unique. and they dont need

to match either! it would create such a mad tea party vibe. love it!

old wine crates for towel holders and toilet paper-

this idea is so sweet, especially if you dont have a lot of counter or bathroom

cupboard space as im pretty sure we wont. this looks simple and clean and i love the

vase full of flowers. classy and clean.

loads of white candles-

yes. i mostly want to put these candles in all different sizes in my bathroom.

there is something so romantic and basic about them. in all sizes and shapes.

i might put them in other places but we will see. i just think a lovely bath with

lots of candles is the tops!

OTHER IDEAS FOR APARTMENT!

small white lights everywhere especially in the living room and bedroom

simple colored bedding in white or gray.

all blue dishes

cake stand to hold soap and dish cleaner in kitchen and maybe bathroom too

chevron curtains for windows in gray or white

sparkly shower curtain for the bathroom

dark baskets to hold games and gaming controls etc.

lots to work on! x

a little less put together

these are my ideas for laid back spring/summer style

now that we will be living in Old Towne Orange California

my style has to be a little less "put together"

a little more effortless looking and of course a lot less warm.

i cant wait to score some cute finds at the vintage and thrift shops

and mix them with my plain old navy basics.

are you ready for the news?? WE DID IT! we got the jobs at Disneyland! pinch me! I cant believe it! i am so proud that we just went down and jumped and made this leap and that it happened. we still dont have a place to live yet but im praying and wishing and believing with all my might that we get something and something great and safe and lovely. i cant wait to update with more once we fill out the paperwork etc.

When You Wish Upon A Star

Joy!! So I received a call on Wednesday from Disneyland! They are having me come to an audition/second interview for Innoventions! I am unbelievably excited! I was so giddy after they called. I was beginning to lose it being on that waiting list. Now we just need to find a place to live! I can't wait for the audition though. I have been researching the work at Innoventions and it looks pretty fun, especially because it has a lot of guest interaction and acting experience is a plus! I think it pays more too since its technically entertainment? I am not sure but I would work at Disneyland for nothing if I didn't need to pay rent. Speaking of money, this next week we are donating plasma. I am nervous about the needles but not nervous about the extra 40 bucks!

perfectly white paper, notebooks, post its. i love the possibilities they have.

these are the bane of my existence. when they start showing up around christmas i am done for. i cant stop eating one once i have started. i have to remind myself they arent real oranges.

i love shopping. i love keeping my purchases in the bags for a few days and setting them by my closet. then i look at them fondly before i have to put the new things in their respective places.

peeling glue of my skin is one of my most favorite things to do. i know its gross but i love when skin peels after a sunburn so this is a healthier way of getting that feeling right?

glass pebbles are lovely. i love all kinds of small jewel like things or stones that i can collect. they are pretty and remind me of having an actual treasure chest of jewels.

last night Ellesse, Tyler and I watched Amelie (finally!)
in this movie they introduced people by listing their likes and dislikes. small and detailed things particularly. in spirit of this Ellesse and I talked on the way home about our likes and dislikes and in honor of trying to be truly me this coming year these are my likes. ill do dislikes later when i feel like being negative!

fill me up

i want to make some short cake and berries and whip cream. doesnt that sound delicious?

plain and simple pasta with cream and garlic. amazing. dinner this week?

fruit! all this week i have felt like my body was craving something healthy and i think i finally figured out that its fruit! store trip tomorrow for some berries, bananas and other tasty sugary fruits! plus some milk. i think that looks lovely on the side.
